Hi everyone,

I’m validating EvidencePing, a small public API designed for AI agents that need bounded, machine-readable evidence from web pages.

It can check a public URL for an expected HTTP status or exact text and return structured evidence including the final URL, status, timestamp, latency and content hash.

I’ve also added an Agent Pain Inbox where developers or agents can anonymously report a missing capability, the workaround currently required and the ideal response they would want from a service.

The objective is to identify repeated, real problems before building additional tools.

The public beta is free and deliberately rate-limited:

I’d appreciate feedback on two questions:

1. Would this verification endpoint be useful in one of your agent workflows?
2. What recurring task currently requires too many tool calls or unreliable workarounds?

Please do not submit prompts, credentials, personal information or customer data.
