When attempting to paste command code into a cell of a notebook on an iOS device the standard text paste function does not appear. The right-click (or long-press) context menu only provides the option to “Paste Cell,” which inserts an entirely new cell rather than pasting text into the existing one. Standard iOS gestures like tap-and-hold or using the floating shortcut bar do not trigger the normal “Paste” option for text input within the cell’s code area.
